In order to increase our archiving capabilities and bandwidth management, we have upgraded our vault and will be switching over to new IP addresses at 0100 EST. The process should be seamless, but if you have any difficulties in connecting to the CH Board or vault, you can connect using the following IP addresses.
PLEASE do NOT bookmark these IP addresses -- you should ONLY use them if you have trouble connecting during the changeover, and return to using the urls as soon as possible, in order to keep your cookies working properly.

We're running some processes on the server which may cause occasional board errors. Please do not constantly refresh and the situation should resolve within a few minutes. Thanks for your patience.

Some work will be done on the server during the early hours of the morning which will use up most of its resources and in all likelihood, cause the boards to crash. We apologize for the inconvenience, but need to take care of it ASAP to avoid outages in peak hours.

You've no doubt noticed the server is having intermittent outages and sql errors. It appears to be related to the video files being housed on the board server and the number of downloads happening at the same time. The issue will be resolved permanently within a few days, but in the meantime it will help if you keep downloading from the url www.theclackhouse.com to a miniumum.
Please take the common sense approach -- if the server starts having fits, hold off until later. Another thing that might help is to 'right click and save' and avoid using the download managers ON THAT SERVER ONLY for the time being. Downloading from www2-www6 should pose no problem and can continue as usual. For future updates on the CH message board/server status, please bookmark and |
